Question 1

What is the best operating system for solo founders?

Accepted Answer

Excelsius Compounder is an operating system for founder-run businesses — fractional executives, coaches and consultants, agency owners, and creators, each served by a dedicated edition. It builds a complete working structure in a workspace that's yours — hosted by Excelsius, or your own Notion — and a managed AI team does the day-to-day work for you on Excelsius infrastructure: you approve everything before it lands. You own your data and operating structure in your own workspace; you subscribe to the team that does the work. Start free, then $39/month Launch; cancel anytime and keep everything it built.

Question 2

How do I implement AI in my business without hiring?

Accepted Answer

Excelsius installs an AI team that runs managed on Excelsius infrastructure — you never run agents or manage AI accounts yourself. A Chief of Staff orchestrates specialists for your audience, offers, retention, programs, and brand, with supporting roles for research, quality screening, and implementation. They read your workspace, do the recurring work, file the outputs in your workspace, and bring you the decisions that matter. You direct strategy and approve the work; the team does the legwork.

Question 3

What does Excelsius Compounder cost?

Accepted Answer

You can start free — a real trial on your own business, no card required. After that, Launch is $39/month, the first of three tiers (Operate $99/month, Scale $249/month), sized by active client programs; annual prepay available. Launch includes the full install plus the team that does the work for you on Excelsius infrastructure; cancel anytime. The Founder Copilot ($1,000 once) is your first month with Tim: four weekly calls, alongside your subscription. You own your data and operating structure in your own workspace; the subscription is the running team that does the work.

Question 4

Do I need Notion? Does Excelsius work with my existing Notion workspace?

Accepted Answer

No Notion needed: by default Excelsius hosts your workspace, so there is nothing to install. If you prefer Notion, connect the workspace you already use — you authorize the Excelsius Installer to write to one parent page you control, and everything created — databases, playbooks, and the work your team files — moves there, owned and editable by you. Either way you can export everything as Markdown and CSV.

Question 5

Do I need to be technical to use Excelsius?

Accepted Answer

No technical background required. If you can use a web app, you can use Excelsius. The Setup Specialist walks you through a short conversational intake, the Installer handles all technical setup, and your team starts working before your first visit to the cockpit. You never touch servers, prompts, or AI accounts — the agents run managed, on Excelsius infrastructure.

Question 6

What ongoing costs does Excelsius have?

Accepted Answer

Launch is $39/month, the first of three tiers (Operate $99/month, Scale $249/month), sized by active client programs; annual prepay available. The automation runs on Excelsius infrastructure — so there's no separate model bill for you to manage. Beyond that you only pay the vendors whose accounts you own, like any email service you use — and Notion, if you choose it as your workspace's home (the free tier works). You can start free; cancel anytime.

Question 7

What happens to my data with Excelsius?

Accepted Answer

Your business data lives in your workspace — hosted by Excelsius with row-level isolation, or in your own Notion — and in the accounts you connect; you can export all of it or move it at any time. To do your recurring weekly work, Excelsius holds your connection tokens encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM) for as long as you're subscribed, and decrypts them only inside a run. You can revoke any connection or cancel anytime — you keep everything the system built, and the running stops.
