The system earns autonomy. It doesn't start with it.

Trust here isn't a setting you flip on. The system has to prove itself, measurably, before it does more on its own — and you can read its record any time. You always hold final approval.

It keeps its own report card

Every recommendation the system makes is logged and then checked against what actually happened — what was recommended, what you decided, how it turned out, and whether reality moved the way the recommendation pointed. Wins and misses are recorded the same way. A record that only kept the wins would be worthless.

It climbs in four steps — and you grant each one

  1. Read-only. It surfaces, recommends, and escalates. Every decision comes back to you. This is where it starts.
  2. Tactical re-routing. Within the plan you've set, it can shift tactical work on its own and show you what it did.
  3. Strategic reweighting. It can propose and make larger shifts in where effort goes.
  4. Goal-level. Setting the goals themselves stays with you. No agent crosses this line.

A step is earned only when the track record in that area holds up — roughly three in four recommendations moving things the way they pointed, sustained over time — and then only when you confirm the step. It never advances on its own, and a reversal drops it back.
